Welcome! At Rainbow Connector, LLC, we bring together a dynamic team of educators, coaches, consultants, and advocates from diverse backgrounds. They all have first-hand experience working with teens, adults, families, businesses, and communities. Everyone on our team is on the front lines, working as experts within their respective industries. They have a deep understanding of what individuals and communities need to thrive. They are "doers" and "connectors" who don't just talk the talk but also walk the walk. Individually, we have decades of experience in education, business, and career development; in helping individuals and organizations achieve their goals.
Collectively, we are unstoppable.
Our expertise and work align with the goals of government agencies seeking inclusive, innovative, and results-driven solutions. We are committed to partnering with government organizations and contract awardees to provide workshops, resources, assessments, community support, coaching, and consulting services tailored to the unique needs of diverse communities.
How We Started
The story of Rainbow Connector, LLC began with a vision to create a more inclusive and loving world. During the pandemic, our founder, Maisie Lynch, started Vaccine Hunters / Las Caza Vacunas, a grassroots initiative dedicated to advocating for and providing COVID-19 vaccines to underserved communities, particularly Latino and Black populations. Within 24 hours, Maisie mobilized a team of passionate educators to support the mission. Their work made national news (Scientific American, CNN, Telemundo) and they received multiple awards and recognition as they uncovered disparities in vaccine access. They eventually received grants and funding to hold their own vaccine clinics and even partnered with a local hospital (we even got to meet Dr. Fauci!). Through successful outreach campaigns and collaborations with local government and community organizations, they played a crucial role in getting vaccines into arms of historically underrepresented groups.
This work highlighted the critical need for equitable access to resources and opportunities. Inspired by this experience, Maisie decided to channel her passion for equity and inclusion into forming a team that could drive meaningful change through education, college and career readiness, and community support. She recognized that her network included talented and passionate experts who were already doing this important work in classrooms and offices throughout the DC Metropolitan area. She realized that if she can lead a team that can make such a huge impact with something like vaccines, which she had no previous experience in, imagine what her team can do when they are the experts at the table. They are unstoppable agents of change.
Why We Do This
Rainbow Connector, LLC was born out of a desire to bridge gaps and connect people with the resources, tools, and support they need to thrive. Maisie's journey as an educator, coach, and advocate has been shaped by personal challenges, professional milestones, and a deep commitment to fostering growth and resilience in others. Every initiative we undertake is fueled by the belief that everyone deserves a chance to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances.
