Maisie Lynch, CCSP, NBCT

Maisie brings 20 years of experience as a public secondary school teacher to her College & Career Coaching and Consulting practice. She has worked with students from all different backgrounds and has a special talent for working with students from historically underrepresented groups. She is an adjunct faculty member at Frederick Community College, has authored several publications, and is active in several professional associations.  





Nulty Lynch
Secondary School Department Head, Jeopardy Winner & Certified English Teacher
Autism & Neurodiversity Consultant, Student Success Advisor, College Essay Specialist

Nulty brings over a decade of experience as an English & ESOL Department Head to our practice. More significantly, however, are his contributions as our Autism & Neurodiversity Consultant. As an adult diagnosed Autistic person, Nulty knows exactly what it means to navigate the challenges and strengths that come with having neurodivergencies. His lived experience, combined with his professional expertise, allow him to offer valuable insights and personalized support to our clients. 

A career changer, Nulty holds a degree in Modern Studies from the University of Virginia (UVA), where he honed his skills in critical analysis and communication. This led to work in the financial printing and research industry for many years. Over a decade ago he was "called" to the classroom and obtained his Advanced Professional Certificate in the State of Maryland. His teaching career began in Prince George's County Public Schools and he is now an English Department Chair for Montgomery County Public Schools. This diverse background equips him with a unique perspective on how to support neurodivergent individuals in both educational and professional settings.

Nulty’s passion is helping neurodivergent individuals thrive by embracing their unique abilities, supporting them to become their best advocates, and helping them build essential college and career readiness skills. His dedication to fostering inclusive environments and empowering individuals to realize their potential makes him an invaluable resource to our team and to those he supports.




Jessica Garlick
Special Education Teacher, Special Ed Transition Support Teacher
Neurodiversity Consultant, Student Success Advisor
As a certified Special Education Teacher with a master's in educational leadership, Jessica has over 22 years of experience at the high school level.  Jessica has had experiences teaching in a variety of settings, including self-contained Special Education classes and co-teaching across all content areas. She was also previously a Resource Teacher for Special Education (RTSE) at the high school level. 

Currently, as a Special Education Transition Support Teacher, she is dedicated to ensuring that all students have equal opportunities and the necessary resources for successful transitions into further education, employment, and community participation. Jessica works collaboratively with teens, young adults, and their families to equip them with the tools and supports needed to thrive and become successful participants in society. She has a wide range of knowledge of various agency supports available to teens and young adults as they transition into adulthood. 


Elizabeth Kominski
National Board Certified English Teacher, Theatre Director, Internship Coordinator, Vocalist & Musician
Spotlight Theatre Camp Director, College Essay Specialist, Audition & Performance Coach

Elizabeth Coyle Kominski brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role as an Essay Specialist and Audition / Performance Coach. A multi-talented artist and educator, Elizabeth is a vocalist, theatre director, high school teacher, guitarist, songwriter, and community activist. She is also the owner of DC Telegrams, the highest-rated singing telegram service on Gig Salad. 

Elizabeth is a National Board Certified Teacher with MCPS where she has spent nearly 20 years teaching English and Theatre. She studied Theatre herself at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and English at the University of Maryland. She has built a career that emphasizes the transformative power of the arts in education. 

Deeply committed to inclusive education, Elizabeth has developed and led theatre programs designed specifically for neurodivergent learners, providing them with a unique platform for self-expression, creativity, and social development. She believes in the power of theatre to build confidence, foster meaningful connections, and to teach essential life skills. Her dedication to empowering students of all ability has made her a beloved mentor and advocate in her community and beyond.






Maria Peterson
National Board Certified Spanish Teacher, Bilingual
Bilingual Student Success Advisor

With over 31 years of experience as an educator, Maria has dedicated her career to supporting students at every level - elementary, middle, and high school. Currently, she is a high school Spanish teacher and a proud National Board Certified Teacher. Beyond the classroom, she has embraced leadership roles that enrich students' lives. She has served as a class sponsor for over 15 years, and facilitates Restorative Justice circles at her school where she guides students in resolving conflicts and overcoming challenges. Her commitment to youth development extends beyond the classroom as she is also a former Boy Scout den leader and football team manager. 

In addition to her work in education, she is deeply invested in strengthening the bond between schools and Latino communities. She actively works to bridge communication gaps between schools and families, ensuring that parents are aware of opportunities that can support their children's success. Her passion for education and advocacy reflect her dedication to empowering students and fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments for all.
